Terms of service
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to www.conceptoline.com! This is the official website of the online store selling products under the CONCEPTO brand.
This document sets out the terms and conditions (referred to below as the “Contract” or the “Terms and Conditions”) governing the use of the conceptoline.com website and the contractual framework applicable to purchases made through it.
The conceptoline.com website is operated by CONCEPTO COLLECTION S.R.L., with its registered office at str. Anatole France, no. 4, 400363 Cluj-Napoca, Romania, registered with the Romanian Trade Registry under no. J12/2349/2005, having Romanian tax ID (CUI) 17715069, referred to below as “CONCEPTO”, the “Company”, the “Seller” or “We”.
Before placing an order, please read these Terms and Conditions in full, together with the other policies published on the website (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping and Returns). Using the website - browsing, creating an account, or placing an order - constitutes your express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
CONCEPTO reserves the right to amend this document at any time, without individual prior notice. The version applicable to a given order is the one published on the website at the time that order is placed.
This document does not apply to sales made to legal entities; orders placed by legal entities are governed by the provisions of the Romanian Civil Code applicable to relationships between professionals.
For any questions regarding these Terms, you can contact us at office@conceptoline.com or at +40 754 236 515.
This Contract is supplemented by applicable Romanian and EU law, including Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals (transposing EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights), Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 on the sale of goods, Government Ordinance no. 21/1992 on consumer protection, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). For customers in the United Kingdom, equivalent protections apply under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and related UK consumer legislation.
2. Definitions
- “Distance contract” - the agreement concluded between CONCEPTO, as Seller, and the Customer, under a sales system organised exclusively through means of distance communication (the website), without the simultaneous physical presence of both parties.
- “Seller” - CONCEPTO COLLECTION S.R.L.
- “Customer” / “User” / “Consumer” - the individual who accesses the website and/or places an order.
- “Website” - the conceptoline.com online platform, together with all its content, structure and the services made available to users.
- “Order” - the request submitted by the Customer through the website for the purchase of one or more CONCEPTO products.
- “Account” - the customer profile created by a User on the website through the account system of the Shopify platform on which conceptoline.com runs, using passwordless authentication (a verification code sent by email); it includes personal data, contact details and order history. Creating an account is not mandatory in order to place an order.
- “Showroom” - CONCEPTO's physical space in Cluj-Napoca, where products may be tried on and, where applicable, collected.
- “Final Sale” - products clearly marked on the website as belonging to a final-price/non-returnable discount category, under the conditions described in Section 12.
3. Website content and intellectual property rights
All elements displayed on conceptoline.com - photographs, descriptive text, logos, graphic elements, design - are the property of CONCEPTO and are protected under Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights.
Copying, reproducing, distributing or otherwise using any part of the website's content for commercial purposes, or for the purpose of comparison or analysis by third parties, without CONCEPTO's prior written consent, is prohibited. Accessing the website through automated devices or programs (crawlers/bots), and any interference with the website's security features, is likewise prohibited.
4. General conditions of use. Fraud
By using the website and placing an order, the Customer undertakes to act in good faith. If CONCEPTO identifies an order placed fraudulently, without authorisation, or using false information, it reserves the right to cancel that order and, where appropriate, to notify the competent authorities.
Any attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's data, to alter the operation of the website, or to compromise the security of the servers on which it runs will be treated as an attempted computer fraud and may give rise to civil and/or criminal liability for the person responsible.
The Customer is responsible for keeping their account access details confidential; any unauthorised use identified must be reported immediately to office@conceptoline.com.
This Contract and the use of the website are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes will first be resolved amicably, and failing an amicable resolution, by the competent courts in Romania.
5. Parties and object of the Contract
The parties to this Contract are CONCEPTO COLLECTION S.R.L., as Seller, and the User placing an order, as Customer.
The object of the Contract is the sale of CONCEPTO products presented on the website - women's clothing collections and accessories - under the availability, price and delivery conditions described in this document.
Each product is presented together with its name, photograph, description, available sizes and colours, material composition, and price, expressed in the currency corresponding to the selected delivery country. CONCEPTO makes reasonable efforts to display colours as accurately as possible on screen; however, colour rendering may vary depending on the device used, and such variation does not constitute a non-conformity of the product.
Special offers, promotions or discounts shown on the website are valid until the stated date or while stocks last.
CONCEPTO does not permit the purchase of its products for resale purposes; orders exceeding 40 items will be reviewed by the Customer Care team before processing.
6. Price. Payment methods
Prices shown on the website include VAT and are expressed in RON, EUR or USD, depending on the destination country selected by the Customer before completing the order. Prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated separately based on destination and are shown separately before the order is confirmed.
CONCEPTO reserves the right to change the prices of products shown on the website without prior notice. Once an order has been confirmed, the price agreed for that order will not be changed except with the express agreement of both parties.
Pricing errors
If, due to a technical or operational error, a product is shown at a price that is clearly lower or higher than its actual value, CONCEPTO will contact the Customer promptly, offering either to adjust the price to the correct value or to cancel the order, with a full refund of any amounts already paid.
Accepted payment methods
You can pay for your order with:
- Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express). Payment is processed securely through one of our payment partners (EuPlătesc or Stripe); the payment option shown at checkout is the one applicable to your order.
- Cash on delivery, on receipt of the parcel - for orders delivered within Romania only.
Depending on the delivery country, other payment methods may also be available at checkout, such as:
- PayPal;
- Apple Pay;
- Klarna (instalment/deferred payment);
where these options are shown at checkout.
For internationally shipped orders, payment can only be made online, by card or through the electronic payment methods available at checkout.
Payment security
All online transactions are processed through secure payment portals, using SSL encryption and compliant with the 3D Secure standard. CONCEPTO does not store customers' full card details.
7. Conclusion of the Contract
After placing an order, the Customer receives a first confirmation email acknowledging that the order has been registered, which is purely informative. The distance contract is only considered concluded once CONCEPTO sends a second email confirming that the ordered products are available in stock and that the order has been accepted.
The Contract remains in effect until both parties have fully and properly performed their obligations.
8. Product availability
Fulfilment of orders is subject to product availability in stock. If, at the time of processing, an ordered product is no longer available, CONCEPTO will try to identify a solution (a similar or alternative product) and will contact the Customer accordingly. If no agreed solution is reached, the price of the unavailable product will be fully refunded, using the same payment method used for the order.
9. CONCEPTO's right to refuse or cancel an order
CONCEPTO may refuse or cancel an order, even after it has been confirmed, in the following situations:
- a technical or typographical error regarding the price or other essential product details shown on the website;
- the ordered product is no longer available in stock;
- security systems indicate a reasonable risk of fraud;
- there are indications that the order was placed by a minor without the consent of a legal guardian;
- delivery to the address provided by the Customer is not possible;
- the Customer has repeatedly refused or returned previous orders without valid reason - in which case CONCEPTO may restrict the payment methods available for that customer's future orders to advance online payment only.
In any of these situations, CONCEPTO will fully refund any amounts already collected for the cancelled order, less shipping costs already incurred, where applicable.
10. Transfer of ownership and risk
Ownership of the products transfers to the Customer once the full price of the order, including shipping costs, has been received.
The risk of loss or damage to the products transfers to the Customer (or to a third party designated by the Customer, other than the carrier) from the moment of actual physical possession of the products.
11. Delivery of products
CONCEPTO ships internationally. Orders placed on conceptoline.com are delivered through partner couriers, depending on the destination area, as set out in the table below:
| Zone | Destinations | Shipping cost | Carrier | Delivery time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Romania | 23 RON (~€5) | DPD Standard | 1-4 business days |
| Zone 2 | EU countries | €25 | FedEx Priority | 2-4 business days |
| Zone 3 | United Kingdom | €28 | FedEx Priority | 2-4 business days |
| Zone 4 | Norway, Monaco, Switzerland, Turkey, Serbia | €30 | FedEx Plus | 3-6 business days |
| Zone 5 | USA, Canada | €30 | FedEx International Priority | 2-4 business days |
| Zone 6 | Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Tunisia, Morocco, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain | €38 | FedEx International Priority | 2-6 business days |
The delivery times shown are estimates and begin to run from the moment the order is confirmed (the second email, as described in Section 7), not from the moment it is placed. Orders can be tracked using the AWB/tracking number sent by email once the parcel has been dispatched.
The shipping cost shown in the shopping cart is calculated automatically based on the delivery address entered, and is confirmed on the order summary page before payment details are entered.
For orders delivered outside the European Union, customs duties and other local import charges, where applicable, are not included in the price shown on the website and are the Customer's responsibility, in accordance with the regulations of the destination country.
Orders cannot be delivered to military bases or PO boxes. The order form, including a valid contact phone number, must be completed correctly to avoid delivery delays or issues.
Shipping costs and delivery times may be updated periodically; the version applicable to an order is the one shown on the website at the time that order is placed.
12. Right of withdrawal from the Contract (right of return)
Consumers in Romania and the European Union are entitled, under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 (transposing EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights), to a 14 calendar day period in which to withdraw from the Contract, without needing to justify the decision. An equivalent 14-day period is applied, as CONCEPTO's own return policy, to customers in the United Kingdom, as well as to customers in the other countries served by CONCEPTO internationally, as set out in the table below.
The return period runs from the moment the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the products. If the products in an order are delivered separately, on different dates, the period is calculated separately for each shipment.
| Shipping zone | Withdrawal / return period | “Final Sale” items |
|---|---|---|
| Romania and the European Union | 14 calendar days from receipt of the parcel | Returnable - including Final Sale items |
| United Kingdom | 14 calendar days from receipt of the parcel | Returnable - including Final Sale items |
| Rest of Europe (excluding the United Kingdom, Ukraine and Russia), North America (USA, Canada, Mexico), Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan and other international destinations served by CONCEPTO | 14 calendar days from receipt of the parcel | NOT returnable |
For orders delivered in Romania and the European Union, as well as those delivered in the United Kingdom, the legal right of withdrawal applies to all products, regardless of whether they were purchased at full price or as part of a Final Sale category - consumer protection legislation in these markets does not permit a blanket exclusion of discounted products from the right of return.
For orders delivered to all other international destinations (as set out in the table above), CONCEPTO offers, as its own policy, a 14 calendar day return period, with the exception of products clearly marked on the website as “Final Sale”, which cannot be returned in these markets.
Regardless of the delivery zone, the following cannot be returned, for legal or hygiene reasons:
- lingerie items, if unpacked/tried on without the hygiene seal being preserved;
- Made-to-Measure or Bespoke products, made specifically to the Customer's order;
- products that have been used, worn or damaged due to the Customer's fault (except in cases of manufacturing defect).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, it is sufficient to send us an unambiguous request, by email to office@conceptoline.com or by phone at +40 754 236 515, stating your name, address and order number, before the applicable period expires. To meet the deadline, it is enough for the notification to be sent before the period expires, with the products then physically returned within 14 calendar days of communicating the decision to withdraw.
Alternatively, the Customer can initiate a return directly from their Account on the website, using the self-serve return option available in their customer account, following the steps indicated there. Regardless of the channel used - email, phone or the customer account - the same terms and conditions described in this section apply.
Returned products must be carefully packaged, with all tags intact, and shipped by courier to: Concepto, str. Anatole France, no. 4, 400463 Cluj-Napoca, Romania, tel. +40 754 236 515.
Return methods and costs
For orders delivered in Romania, the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States, the Customer may choose either: (i) to request a return shipping label (AWB) from CONCEPTO, the cost of which is equal to the shipping cost for the Customer's zone (as set out in Section 11) and is deducted from the total refund amount, or (ii) to send the product back at their own initiative, by courier, at their own expense, to the CONCEPTO address indicated above. For all other international destinations, returns must be sent at the Customer's own initiative, by courier, at the Customer's own expense.
Regardless of the delivery zone or the option chosen, CONCEPTO does not accept returns sent through national postal services; return parcels must be shipped exclusively by courier. Full details of the return procedure are available on the “Shipping and Returns” page published on the website.
If the product delivered was incorrect or has a manufacturing defect, CONCEPTO will fully reimburse the return shipping costs, regardless of the return method used, based on proof of payment for the shipping.
Refunds
After receiving and inspecting the condition of the returned products, CONCEPTO will refund their value, using the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receipt of the returned parcel or from receipt of proof of its shipment, whichever occurs first. If the return was made using the return label (AWB) provided by CONCEPTO, its cost is deducted from the refunded amount. Original shipping costs are not refunded, except in cases of error or defect on CONCEPTO's part. For orders paid by cash on delivery, the refund is made by bank transfer to an account provided by the Customer.
Size exchanges
A product may be exchanged for a different size of the same model, subject to available stock, following the same procedure as for returns (the original order is returned and a new order is placed). Please contact us in advance at office@conceptoline.com to confirm availability of the desired size.
13. Product warranty
Products sold by CONCEPTO carry a 2-year legal conformity warranty from the date of delivery, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 on the sale of goods.
Any non-conformity identified must be brought to CONCEPTO's attention as soon as possible after discovery, by email to office@conceptoline.com, together with relevant photographs and a description of the issue. Depending on the nature of the defect, CONCEPTO will propose repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction or, where applicable, termination of the contract, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, defects caused by improper use of the product, inadequate cleaning/care, unauthorised alterations, or accidental events occurring after delivery. As these products are partly handmade, minor variations in texture, stitching or shade between items from the same collection are normal and do not constitute a defect.
Shipping costs for products claimed under warranty, subsequently confirmed as non-conforming due to CONCEPTO's fault, are borne by CONCEPTO.
14. Complaints procedure
Any complaint regarding an order, a product, or the functioning of the website may be sent to office@conceptoline.com or by phone to +40 754 236 515. The CONCEPTO team will confirm receipt of the complaint and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
15. Account creation
The customer Account on conceptoline.com is created and managed through the account system of the Shopify platform on which the website runs. Authentication is passwordless: the Customer enters their email address, receives a 6-digit verification code, and once this is entered, the account is created or accessed automatically. Creating an account is not required in order to place an order.
Data stored in the Account (name, email address, saved shipping addresses, order history) is hosted and technically processed by Shopify Inc., as the platform provider, on behalf of and for CONCEPTO, in accordance with Section 17 and the Privacy Policy published on the website.
As of the date of this document, Shop Pay is not enabled as a payment method on the website. If this option is enabled in the future, Customers will optionally be able to sign in using their Shop account details, in which case Shop Pay/Shop's own terms and privacy policy, published by Shopify, will additionally apply.
The Customer is responsible for keeping confidential the email address used for authentication and access to it; any unauthorised use of the account must be reported immediately to office@conceptoline.com.
16. Newsletter
Users may subscribe to and unsubscribe from the CONCEPTO newsletter at any time, free of charge. CONCEPTO will not send marketing communications without the User's prior, freely given and informed consent, and unsubscribing does not affect the validity of the rest of this Contract.
17. Confidentiality. Personal data protection
Personal data provided by Customers is processed by CONCEPTO solely for the purposes of processing orders, managing accounts and, where explicit consent has been obtained, sending marketing communications, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018.
CONCEPTO does not share customers' personal data with unaffiliated third parties, other than the providers strictly necessary for order processing (couriers, payment processors), and only to the extent necessary to deliver the service. Full details on data processing are available in the Privacy Policy published on the website.
Users may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection regarding their own data by sending a request to office@conceptoline.com.
The conceptoline.com website is built and hosted on the Shopify platform, operated by Shopify Inc. and its affiliates. In this capacity, Shopify processes order and customer account data on CONCEPTO's behalf, as a processor, under its own contractual data protection commitments, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers of data outside the European Economic Area. Further details on data processing at the platform level are available in the privacy policies published by Shopify Inc.
18. Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform, or improper performance of, its contractual obligations where this is caused by a force majeure event - an unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstance, beyond the control of the parties (natural disasters, armed conflict, acts of terrorism, pandemics, etc.). If the force majeure event persists for more than 15 days from its occurrence, either party may notify the other of the automatic termination of the Contract, without either party being entitled to claim damages from the other.
19. Disputes. Alternative dispute resolution
Any disagreement relating to this Contract will first be resolved amicably. Failing an amicable resolution, jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Romania.
Consumers in Romania and the European Union may alternatively use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, as well as the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), without this limiting their right to bring proceedings before the competent courts.
20. Final provisions
This Contract, together with the other policies it refers to (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping and Returns), constitutes the entire agreement between CONCEPTO and the Customer regarding orders placed on the website, superseding any prior understanding on the same subject.
If one or more clauses of this document are declared void by a competent court, the remaining clauses shall remain valid and effective, to the extent permitted by law.
This Contract is governed by, and shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with, the laws of Romania, without prejudice to the mandatory rights available to consumers under the law of their country of residence, where applicable law so provides.
